Autism is not brain retardation but there is no way there isn’t something wrong with the brain when you observe a little child sit all by themselves and mix with no one. Doctors believe it, and a lot of researchers do too, which is why they put so much focus and time to learning about what could have happened to cause the disorder. Perhaps someday in the near future, we will have the answer we so ardently seek, and finally be able to put an end to it.
There are a few diseases and illnesses that man has never been able to make heads or tails of. Some we have found the causes for, but not the cures.
